Questo articolo è disponibile in inglese.

A highly efficient strategic crossroads for the global influence of the French film industry, the Rendez-vous with French Cinema in Paris, organised by Unifrance (read the interview with executive director Isabelle Giordano here), will be celebrating its20th anniversary from 18 to 22 January. This year, a total of 41market premieres and 74 films will be screened and offered to the 500 international buyers who are expected to attend. 44 French export companies will also be negotiating for other titles in their line-ups. The event will allow 120 international journalists to meet with 110 French artists (filmmakers and performers), with the program set to reveal how French productions fared abroad in 2017, as well as the launch of MyFrenchFilmFestival (read the news here) in the presence of Paolo Sorrentino and members of the jury, and the awarding of the French Cinema Award to Juliette Binoche.
