(winning a Davide di Donatello for Best Costume Design). Carlo Hintermann, director, producer, musician, but also distributor and author of books on cinema, has also collaborated with numerous world-famous directors from both America and around the globe, including Terrence Malick himself.

The Book of Vision tells the story of Eva, a young and promising doctor, who suddenly abandons a brilliant career to study the history of medicine, leaving her past behind. During her "escape" Eva meets Henry, the tutor with whom she works on "The Book of Vision," a text by Joahn Anmuth, an 18th century Prussian doctor, which contains the hopes, fears and dreams of more than 1,800 patients. The events of the doctor will become one with those of Eva, in a game of mirrors between past and present.
