Unveiled at Cannes in the Un Certain Regard section (where it won an award), the film, starring Jeanne Balibar and the director himself, based on a screenplay written by Amalric with Philippe Di Folco, was produced by Patrick Godeau for Waiting For Cinema and Alicéléo. The film was greatly received with 362,000 admissions in French cinemas, and is currently being sold internationally by Gaumont.
