The Chess Player by Luis Oliveros

“To tell you the truth, we’ll be fully laden with films...” says director of Latido Films Antonio Saura ahead of his trip to the Cannes Film Festival, where, at the Film Market, he and his colleagues will be some of the most prominent ambassadors of Spanish and Spanish-language film. “In the Official Section, in Cannes Classics, we are taking Dream of Light by the one and only Víctor Erice, together with A Contracorriente Films. It’s not a new title, but it does give us an enormous sense of pride to form part of this tribute.”
