Written by Nabil Ayouch and Maryam Touzani, the story is summed up by the briefest smattering of fragmented words: from the Atlas Mountains to Casablanca, a global city, unique. Two eras. Abdallah, Salima, Joe, Hakim and Inès. Each one lives and resists. Balanced. In the distance, an angry mob. Raid.

Produced by Bruno Nahon for Unité de Production, Razzia is benefiting from co-productions by Les Films du Nouveau Monde, France 3 Cinéma, Belgian outfit Artemis Productions and Morocco’s Ali'N Productions. Having been pre-purchased by Canal+, OCS, RTBF, BeTV and Voo, the feature is also being supported by Eurimages, the Wallonia-Brussels Federation’s Film Centre, the Belgian tax shelter and the SofitvCiné 4 Sofica. The shoot will continue until the end of the year in Ouarzazate and Casablanca. French distribution will be handled by Ad Vitam, while international sales are entrusted to Films Distribution.
