Written byPierre Salvadori, Benoit Graffin and Benjamin Charbit, the screenplay follows Yvonne Santi, a young police inspector and widow of a heroic, courageous and respectable cop. During a textbook investigation, she discovers that her husband was not the man she believed him to be, but was, instead, a corrupt liar. Devastated, she will try to fix his wrong-doings, and heal wounds from the past that she didn’t inflict. In doing so, she will find herself in a number of situations that will quickly overwhelm her...

), The Trouble With You has co-production agreements in place with France 2 Cinéma, CN6 Productions and Films Chaocorp. Having been pre-purchased by Canal+, and Ciné+, the feature film has also received the backing of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region and the La Banque Postale Images, Manon and Soficinema Soficas. The nine or ten weeks of shooting will take place from mid-November and run until the end of January in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur and Ile-de-France regions. Domestic distribution will be handled by Memento Films Distribution, while MK2 will take care of the title’s international sales.
