Directors, actors, writers, academics and other industry experts will speak to audiences in open debates following some of the screenings. Audiences will be able to vote for the best film, thereby deciding the winner of the People’s Choice Award, the award for the most well-loved film of the Festival, whilst other prizes will be awarded by the Toronto Film Critics Association and leading sponsor Castelpoint Numa. A jury of experts will award the prize for Best Short Film.
