The CineLink co-production market, which will take place as part of the 22nd Sarajevo Film Festival (12-20 August), has announced the first six projects selected from the first call for entries, intended chiefly, but not exclusively, for projects by first- and second-time filmmakers who are participating in the preparatory workshop in Sarajevo. 

They include The Heroes Were Dancing by Serbia's Nikola Ljuca,whose Humidity [+see also:

world-premiered in the Berlinale Forum and subsequently won three national awards at the Belgrade FEST (Best Film, Best Director and Best Actor for Milos Timotijevic), and Ela and Hilmi, the first feature by Turkey’s Ziya Demirel, best known for the short film Tuesday, which took part in the Cannes shorts competition and won a Special Mention at Sarajevo last year.

The second call for entries is open from 25 March until 26 April and targets projects by established auteurs at an advanced stage of development and financing, which are currently looking for a good market access point to further their conversion and placement effort. You can find the application form for the second call for entries here.
