), Franciska Törőcsik (Swing), József Wunderlich, Antonio de la Torre, Hary Prinz and Leslaw Zurek.

Written by Márta Mészáros, Éva Pataki and Zoltán Jancsó, the story revolves around Olga, who lives in Vienna. She realises that there are secrets and lies buried in her family’s past, and that she will not be able to put her own life in order until she works out the truth behind what really happened. After returning to Hungary, her elderly mother did everything in her power to keep the past a secret from her daughter and lied to her for years. But when she falls into a coma, Olga finds a mysterious photograph and starts to search for the truth...

Produced by István Major and Gül Togay for FilmTeam, Aurora Borealis - Northern Light is being backed by the Hungarian National Film Fund, which will also be in charge of international sales. The 38-day shoot will wrap on 12 December with Piotr Sobocinski Jr. serving as DoP, and the Hungarian theatrical release is slated for October 2016.
