, which comes out on 23 September), the story of Moka sees 45-year-old Diane slip away from the clinic in Lausanne where she had been confined for a rest cure. Equipped with just a few belongings and a pistol, she heads to Evian, on the other side of Lake Geneva. She is looking for the owners of an old Mercedes. And she knows she will see it through to the end...

Produced by Damien Couvreur and Julien Rouch for Diligence Films (which is making its first feature), and executive-coproduced by Tonie Marshall for Tabo Tabo Films, Moka is also benefitting from co-productions by Swiss outfit Bande à part Films (founded by Ursula Meier, Lionel Baier, Jean-Stéphane Bron and Frédéric Mermoud) and by Sampek Productions. Having been pre-purchased by Canal+ and Ciné+, the movie is also being supported by the Cofimage and Sofitvciné Soficas. The 35-day shoot will continue until 24 October in the environs of Lake Geneva (Evian, Lausanne). Distribution in French theatres and international sales will be handled by Pyramide.
