by Yann Gozlan will today open the 19th edition of the ColCoa (City of Lights, City of Angels) Festival in Los Angeles, which will present 68 French feature films in Directors Guild of America (DGA) theatres. Gozlan’s film will be having its North American premiere, and the screening will be attended by the director as well as the movie’s lead actor, rising star Pierre Niney. The 68 features mean that this is a record-breaking programme for the event, which this year includes three world, seven international and 14 US premieres. Also of note is a new competition for films produced for television, boasting such titles as The White Soldier by Erick Zonca, which will bring the gathering to a close.
