German (co-)productions at New York

The 49th edition of the New York Film Festival (Septembre 30 – October 16) is presenting several exciting German titles and coproductions, starting with Roman Polanski's latest effort, Carnage [+see also:

, coproduced by the German outfit Constantin with French and Polish partners and chosen as the opening film.

The festival is also featuring amongst its Special Events the interesting threefold project Dreileben, which consists of three different features made by three notorious German directors around the story of a criminal's escape : Dreileben – One Minute of Darkness [+see also:
