today opened the 10th edition of Open Roads-New Italian Cinema, a presentation to American audiences of some of the most noteworthy Italian films of the past season. The event held at New York’s Lincoln Center will run through June 10.

Open Roads is organized by Cinecittà Luce and the Film Society of Lincoln Center. The films, selected by Richard Pena, Program Director della Film Society and director of the New York Film Festival, with the help of Antonio Monda, include Alessandro Angelini’s Keep Your Head Up [+see also:
