film profile], in competition at Cannes in 2008, and forthcoming work The Frankenstein Plan - see news), has been crowned Best Producer of the Year by Allianz Hungary. The award was presented to her at the Les Arcs European Film Festival, where yesterday she took part in a conference on "Hungarian Financing in the European Co-production Framework".
Having met him during their studies at the Hungarian Film Institute, Petrányi has, since 1998, produced all of Mundruczó’s works. She also co-scripted the director’s shorts and first two features: Pleasant Days [+see also:
