directed by Polish filmmaker Agnieszka Holland, who will be present to talk with the audience, will open La Saison européenne des Cinéastes (the European Season for Filmmakers) organised by ARP, the very influential French Civil Society of Authors-Directors-Producers, which aims to make a mark in a year of European elections (in June 2024) that will be pivotal for the Old Continent.

La Saison européenne des Cinéastes will continue with the LUX Audience Award (read the article), presented by the European Parliament and the European Film Academy, with screenings at the Cinéma des Cinéastes in Paris of the five selected films: Fallen Leaves [+leggi anche:

Finally, from 31 May to 2 June 2024, the filmmakers of the ARP will organise the European Cinema Weekend, showcasing to the public the richness and the diversity of European cinematic creation. With debates and screenings, the filmmakers of the ARP will welcome directors both emerging and established, talents of all kinds who will discuss their artistic points of view. This will be a unique occasion to take the pulse of European creation, its present state and its future.
