The Andalucía Film Commission has presented its Activity Report and its Film City Network, which provide data relating to the industry’s impact on the economy and employment. These data exceed those compiled previously and confirm that the film-shoot industry is on a steady, upward trend in Andalusia.

Indeed, this upward trend was reinforced during 2017, with 1,406 shoots, meaning that the Andalucía Film Commission has lent its support to a total of 15,368 shoots since it was created in 1998, including a total of 490 television programmes, 235 advertisements, 211 photographic reports, 46 feature films, 87 documentaries and 53 shoots for episodes of TV series. These shoots contributed €122,544,678 to the Andalusian economy and led to the employment of 21,877 professionals.
