Benedikt Erlingsson

Benedikt Erlingsson is one of the most successful stage directors of the last decade in Iceland. His first short film, Thanks (2007), carried off the Jury and Audience Award at New York’s BeFilm Festival in 2008. The second, Naglinn (The Nail, 2008), received a Special Mention at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival in 2008. In 2013 he directed his first feature film, Of Horses and Men, New Directors Award at San Sebastian. This year he also chairs the Jury of the Festival’s International Film School Meeting.
