Lionel Baier

LIONEL BAIER, born 1975, is an internationally acclaimed filmmaker from Lausanne. In 2009, Baier founded Bande à part Films together with Ursula Meier. In the same year, CROSSING EUROPE paid its Tribute to the Swiss filmmakers. Baier teaches at the ECAL – École cantonale d’art de Lausanne and co-chairs the Swiss Film Archive.
