fiche film]). The goal of their newly founded production company, NEM Corp, is to work with both international and domestic projects. As stated in its press release, the company aims to “attract prestigious international film projects to Poland, both as co-productions and by providing service work”, and wants to take advantage of the financial incentives (up to a 30% cash rebate) that will be introduced in Poland later this year. NEM Corp also plans to use soft money and to search for private funding sources in Poland.
Ewa Puszczyńska is the Oscar-winning producer of Ida and the Cannes Best Director Award winner Cold War, both helmed by Paweł Pawlikowski. She has also worked with the likes of Ari Folman, Robert Schwentke and Alexandros Avranas. Klaudia Śmieja is currently working on new and upcoming films by Agnieszka Holland (Mr. Jones [+lire aussi :
