GOLDEN DAWN GIRLS

by Håvard Bustnes

synopsis

Ourania, daughter of the party’s leader, puts aside her Psychology studies to take charge of the organization. Meanwhile Jenny and Dafni, the wife and mother of two other imprisoned MP`s juggle motherhood with the work of furthering Golden Dawn’s cause – from their view a fight against a Jewish conspiracy fueled by fake news. As the elections and trial unfold, they give a Norwegian film crew surprising access to the secret chamber and family lives of one of Europe’s most notorious nationalist parties – exposing the mindset, values and personalities of the people on the front lines of modern nationalism.
