synopsis

Kigali, 1994. The city is in violent chaos. Just before fleeing, some Belgians hide Jacqueline, their tutsi childminder, in the false ceiling of their villa. At daybreak, Jacqueline comes out of her hiding place and flees through some woods. She comes across a fugitive dying by the water’s edge. Taking refuge in the middle of the forest, they survive as best they can...
