Memoir of War is the fifth feature by the filmmaker (who previously garnered acclaim with Voyages, Nowhere Promised Land [+lee también:

ficha de la película]), and stars Mélanie Thierry, Benoît Magimel and Benjamin Biolay. An adaptation of an autobiographical work by Marguerite Duras, the plot of which unfolds in Paris at the end of World War II, the feature was produced by Laetitia Gonzalez and Yaël Fogiel for Les Films du Poisson, in partnership with Cinéfrance and with Michel Merkt. Co-produced by France 3 Cinéma, Same Player and by Belgium’s Versus Production, Need Productions and Proximus, Memoir of War was also supported by the CNC’s advance on receipts, Eurimages, the Ile-de-France region, Canal+ and OCS. It has racked up more than 350,000 admissions in France, where it was released by Les Films du Losange, and it was distributed in the United States in mid-August by Music Box Films. The international sales have been entrusted to TF1 Studio.
