After spending almost forty years in Italy, Abdelouahab (Aldo) decides to return home, to Morocco. Ilyass (Elia), his son who is now thirty-four years old, grew up in Lombardy but joins him on this journey of memories and stories. After years of sacrifice, the two manage to transform an old military truck into a camper: in January 2016 the camper is finally ready and Aldo wants to leave.
