This year’s Cannes Film Festival marked a very special event for the LUX Prize.

Given out for the first time in 2007, the award celebrated its 10th year. Those 10 years have been filled with cinematic discoveries, topical issues and cultural debates, have been honoured with a common event held in collaboration with partners at Directors’ Fortnight, at the Plage de la Quinzaine on 14 May. The celebration continued on 15 May with the LUX Uncovered event, which took place at the Creative Europe stand, located in the Village International, Côté Riviera. LUX Prize coordinator and former Chair of the European Parliament Culture Committee Doris Pack opened the event, attended by European Commissioner Günter Oettinger, LUX Prize winner Pawel Pawlikowski (Ida [+see also:
