The video reports the red carpet arrivals of stars and guests who attended the European Film Awards 2002 ceremony held in the Teatro dell'Opera in Rome.
Among the many guests who attended the event, Italian screenwriter Tonino Guerra, who received the European Film Academy Lifetime Achievement Award 2002, directors as Ken Loach, Ettore Scola, Win Wenders and Roman Polansky, Spanish actor Javier Bardem, James Cromwell, Rade Sherbedja and Jeremy Irons; Among the Italian filmmakers the actors Roul Bova and Gabriel Garko, the actresses Sandra Ceccarelli, Laura Morante and Margherita Buy, directors as Franceco Rosi, Paolo and Vittorio Taviani and Gabriele Muccino. Talking about European cinema also Europe’s best European actor for 2002 Sergio Castellitto, Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar awarded for the European best film, best director, best screenplay as well as the audience award, and Spanish actress Victoria Abril, winner of the Best European Achievement in World Cinema.
