, which is also the latest project he has produced.

He gives a brief history of the project. The case of a film produced thanks to people who met at the right time, as a consequence of fortunate events. The UK director wrote and shot the film by himself, and pitched the project at the Thessaloniki Film Festival where he met with Tudor Giurgiu.

In 2008, not having any co-production assured and following the attempts to search funding in order to finish the film, Libra Films started investing on the film. The ready film was then presented at the Transylvania International Film Festival, where it was noticed by French international seller Memento Films, who encouraged sending the film at the 2009 Berlinale. The film was selected in official competition and it was awarded with the Silver Bear for an outstanding artistic contribution for the sound and design.

As the producer concludes, Katalin Varga is a success story of a certain model of a film, stating also that "film business is also human business".
