BAFTA announces foreign film nominees

BAFTA has announced the five titles in the Film Not In The English Language category for the 2008 Orange British Academy Film Awards. The nominees are The Diving Bell and the Butterfly [+see also:

. For the first time, Chapter voting has been introduced in this category. A Chapter comprises Academy voting members with expertise in a specific area of the film industry.

Nominations for the Orange Rising Star award will be announced January 8 and the other nominations will be announced on January 16. The awards ceremony will take place on February 10 at the Royal Opera House in London.
