The Filmkunstmesse (professional film fair, 12-16 Sept.) is taking place in Leipzig. This event, organised for the fifth time by AG Kino Gilde, a German union of exhibitors, allows theatres owners and programmers to meet distributors and talk about films.
Indeed, besides the seminars, meetings and debates, 5O unreleased films will be screened and discussed by all various operators. Their commercial potential will be analysed to establish the best target and marketing strategies.
Non-professional spectators can not only meet the film crews who are present, but this year, for the first time, they can also elect their favourite film, which will receive 2,500 euros.
