Cabourg honours My Summer of Love

, the Grand Prix and the Youth Prize at the 19th Romantic Film Festival at Cabourg. Best British Film of the year at the recent Baftas Awards, this second feature by the filmmaker comes out in the French cinemas on Wednesday, distributed by TFM. He succeeds Les conséquences de l'amour by Paolo Sorrentino, winner of the Normandy event’s prize in 2004.

As for the Swann d'Or, which honours the best French actors, actresses and directors of the year, the jury rewarded Valeria Bruni-Tedeschi for her roles in Crustacés et coquillages from the duo Olivier Ducastel - Jacques Martineau and 5x2 [+see also:

His colleague Vincent Lindon triumphed in the male category for La Moustache by Emmanuel Carrère which was presented at the recent Cannes Director’s Fortnight and will be released in France on the 6th July by Pathé. The jury also rewarded in "cinema revelations of 2005" Nicolas Cazalé and Lola Naymark for their roles in, respectively, Le Grand Voyage by Ismaël Ferrouki and Brodeuses by Eléonore Faucher. Finally it was Arnaud Despleschin who was awarded the Swann d’Or for best director of the year with Kings and Queen [+see also:
