Launched by the professional online platform Coprocity (read the interview) which works in partnership with 15 co-production markets, the Coprocity Development Award that in 2022 went to (read the news) Maura Delpero for The Mountain Bride and Frida Kempff for The Swedish Torpedo, will this year go to one of 10 projects (see the list below).

Standing out in this selection of young talents are the projects by French animation filmmaker Denis Do (winner in Annecy in 2018 with Funan [+see also:

The 10 projects vying for the Coprocity Development Award (which comes with €3,500) will be considered by a jury composed of international sales agent Marie Lamboeuf (Urban Sales), Neuza Bagorro (in charge of acquisitions for Arizona Distribution) and the author of this article. The name of the winning project will be unveiled during the Coproduction Village (from 16 to 19 December) of Les Arcs Film Festival.

The co-production markets partnering with Coprocity are CineMart IFFR, Brussels International Film Festival Co-Production Market, L’Atelier de la Cinéfondation, When East Meets West, Torino Film Lab, Meeting Point Vilnius, Connecting Cottbus, Les Arcs Industry Village, Baltic Event, Thessalonique - Agora Crossroads et Agora Docs -, New Nordic Films Haugesund, Sofia Meetings, CineLink and Ventana Sur.
