), the story takes place in today’s Nice. Laura (Zita Hanrot), in her thirties, tries to rebuild herself after a tumultuous relationship with Joachim (Bastien Bouillon). She leads a seemingly peaceful life, raising her little girl on her own. But the accident suffered by Shirine (Alexia Chardard), Joachim’s new partner, will make her past resurface. The two women, subjected to the violence of the same man, will slowly start helping each other…

Produced by Agnès Vallée and Emmanuel Barraux for 31 Juin Films, No Way Back has been pre-bought by Canal+ and Ciné+. The feature also benefits from the support of the South region (Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur) and of Sofica Cinémage and Cofimage. The 28 shooting days will take place in Nice, Gênes, Vintimille and Toulon with Justine Bourgade as DoP and will conclude on 13 December. The release in French cinemas will be handled by Paname Distribution and international sales by Indie Sales.
