Young teacher Malte's wife Liv is raped by a young stranger in a tragic assault during their summer holidays. The couple shows astonishing strength, dealing with this traumatic event as rationally as possible. It takes a while for them to rebuild the trust in their relationship and their sexuality – things are slowly getting back to normal for the couple. Two years later, Malte meets the perpetrator again by accident. Malte cannot believe his eyes, and follows him around the city to gather information about him. But before he can tell Liv or the police, it comes to a confrontation between the two men. Malte gets sucked into his longing for justice and revenge. And it looks like the real challenge for the most beautiful couple is still to come…

, which will have its world premiere in the Contemporary World Cinema section of the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival. The film stars Maximilian Brückner and Luise Heyer. It was produced by One Two Films (Germany), funded by Filmstiftung NRWMBB and the FFA, and co-produced with French outfit Arsam International. The world sales are being handled by Beta Cinema, and Zorro Film will release it in Germany.
