in 2014, will be presented in competition in the Filmmakers of the Present section at Locarno Film Festival.

The film stars three of Italy’s most promising young actresses: Angela Fontana, Denise Tantucci and Blue Yoshimi, while the film's original score has been entrusted to the German composer Alva Noto, one of the most popular soundtrack artists of the moment (he notably collaborated with Ryuichi Sakamoto on the soundtrack for The Revenant by Alejandro González Iñárritu).

Likemeback is set on a boat, where three friends are celebrating the end of high school and sharing every moment on social media, unaware that their friendship will soon be changed forever. The film was produced by Nightswim, Essentia (the directors' company), Indiana Production, Rai Cinema and in co-production with Danijel Pek's Antitalent (Croatia). International sales are being handled by the German outfit Media Luna New Films.

Guerra Seràgnoli stated that he was "very happy that Likemeback has been invited to Filmmakers of the Present because, having followed the section for many years, I have always found an important curatorial vision for modern cinema in the selections made by the artistic director and his collaborators, thus encouraging people to continue to make free films open to experimentation."
