, will commence on 16 April. The Belgian filmmaker attended the Berlinale Talent Campus and the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, where she was the youngest graduate in her class in 2011. Her graduation film, Ceci n’est pas un parapluie, was chosen by the DGA (Directors Guild of America) to represent young emerging talent.

Written by the director, the screenplay focuses on Jeanne, a shy young woman who works as a night guard at an amusement park and has a close relationship with her mother. While no man can compete with this opposed duo, Jeanne begins to develop strange romantic feelings for Jumbo, the lighthouse attraction at the theme park... 

It's worth noting that the project participated in the Mannheim Meeting Place and Fantasia as part of the Frontières international co-production market. 

Produced by Anaïs Bertrand for the Parisian company Insolence Productions, Jumbo was co-produced by the Luxembourg company Films Fauves and Belgian outfit Kwassa Films. The feature film, which is also due to receive an advance on earnings from CNC, Eurimages, Wallonia-Brussels Federation, Film Fund Luxembourg, and Sofica Sofitvcine, will be shot from 16 April to 1 June in Belgium and Luxembourg withThomas Buelens (All Cats Are Grey [+see also:
