Fortuna and Cross My Heart win the Crystal Bears in Berlin’s Generation

The awards for the Generation section of the 68th Berlin Film Festival have been unveiled.

The members of the Youth Jury Generation 14plus have awarded the Crystal Bear for the Best Film to Swiss-Belgian co-production Fortuna [+see also:

, directed by Germinal Roaux. A Special Mention was given to Alvaro Delgado-Aparicio's Retablo [+see also:

, a co-production between Peru, Germany and Norway. Fortuna also received the Grand Prix for the Best Film from the Generation 14plus International Jury, which also gave a special mention to Iranian film Dressage by Pooya Badkoobeh.

On the other hand, the Crystal Bear given out by the members of the Youth Jury Generation Kplus was bestowed upon Cross My Heart by Canadian filmmaker Luc Picard. Likarion Wainaina’s German-Kenyan co-production Supa Modo [+see also:
