Filming has wrapped up on Moser - Scacco al tempo in Trentino, a film by Nello Correale. The crew shadowed Francesco Moser, the Italian cyclist with a record number of wins to his name, in order to capture an unedited portrait of the champion and a small village community in Trento, where he was born and always returns (preliminary trailer and photographs are available here).

"A crew shadowed Francesco Moser for nearly a year in order to tell the story of a man, his family, the community of Palù di Giovo and his exceptional human adventure. A no-holds-barred portrait of the great champion who tells the story of his life and career in an unexpected way," explains director Nello Correale. An exceptional human adventure that documents the deep bond between a cycling legend and his land, as well as the achievements of Merckx, Saronni, Hinault. A story that will appeal to everyone, not just cycling enthusiasts.
