For Contes de juillet, his second fictional feature, Guillaume Brac has gathered together a cast including Milena Csergo, Lucie Grunstein, Jean Joudé, Théo Chedeville, Kenza LagnaouiHanne Mathisen Haga, Andrea Romano, Sipan Mouradian, Salomé Dienis Meulien and Roman Jean-Elie.

Written by the director, the screenplay tells two stories involving five girls and five boys one day in summer, in Paris and its suburbs. Entitled "Sunday friend", the first part centres around Milena and Lucie, two work colleagues who make the most of a sunny Sunday to go for a swim at the outdoor activities centre in Cergy-Pontoise. But their encounter with an invasive security officer puts their blossoming friendship in jeopardy. The second part of the film, entitled "Hanne and Bastille Day" sees a young Norwegian student find herself lock horns with three men in succession while the festivities of 14 July are in full swing. All of them end up spending the evening together on the university campus.

Produced by Nicolas Anthomé for Bathysphère (which is also selling the film internationally), Contes de juillet was co-produced by the Conservatoire National Supérieur d'Art Dramatique.
