Seven cities in Israel for seven Italian films on a tour that sets off on 1 April and concludes on 8 April. It’s the fourth edition of Cinema Italia, organised by the Adamas Italy-Israel Cultural Association in close partnership with the Italian Cultural Institutes of Tel Aviv and Haifa and held with the support of Istituto Luce CinecittàFilmitalia, the Cineteca di Bologna, the Municipality of Tel Aviv-Giaffa and the Municipality of Haifa, and in partnership with the film libraries of Tel Aviv, Haifa, Jerusalem, Holon, Herzliya, Sderot and Rosh Pina. From 29 April to 5 May, the Tokyo Italian Film Festival will be held at the prestigious Asahi Hall in Ginza, during Golden Week, a period of the year dedicated in Japan to special events. The festival, which is organised by Istituto Luce – Cinecittà in partnership with Japanese publishing giant Asahi Shimbun, the Italian Embassy and the Italian Institute of Culture in Tokyo, has, in recent years, become a point of reference for Italian contemporary production.
