27/03/2017 - In April and May a number of events will take Italian films on tours in international markets

Seven cities in Israel for seven Italian films on a tour that sets off on 1 April and concludes on 8 April. It’s the fourth edition of Cinema Italia, organised by the Adamas Italy-Israel Cultural Association in close partnership with the Italian Cultural Institutes of Tel Aviv and Haifa and held with the support of Istituto Luce Cinecittà – Filmitalia, the Cineteca di Bologna, the Municipality of Tel Aviv-Giaffa and the Municipality of Haifa, and in partnership with the film libraries of Tel Aviv, Haifa, Jerusalem, Holon, Herzliya, Sderot and Rosh Pina. From 29 April to 5 May, the Tokyo Italian Film Festival will be held at the prestigious Asahi Hall in Ginza, during Golden Week, a period of the year dedicated in Japan to special events. The festival, which is organised by Istituto Luce – Cinecittà in partnership with Japanese publishing giant Asahi Shimbun, the Italian Embassy and the Italian Institute of Culture in Tokyo, has, in recent years, become a point of reference for Italian contemporary production.
