Dedicating his life to his passion, he is finally about to realise his dream – joining a prestigious professional racing team. But all that changes when his former partner gets into debt with a dangerous local boss. To save the mother of his child, Tony has no choice but to offer his services as a former driver to the gangster and his perilous drug trafficking circuit. The high-risk missions it entails suck Tony into a downward spiral…

Produced by Thibault Gast and Matthias Weber for 2425 Films (which also worked on the director’s previous feature film) and by Wassim Béji for WY ProductionsBurn Out will be co-produced by Sombrero FilmsGaumont, and Belgian company Nexus Factory. Pre-purchased by OCS (first distribution window) and Ciné+ (second distribution window), and supported by Angoa, the film will be shot in Ile-de-France between 12 September and 4 November. Distribution of the film in France and international sales will be handled by Gaumont.
