Written by Lou de Fanget Signolet and the director himself, the main character in the story is a disillusioned policeman (Cassel) who begins an inquiry into the sudden disappearance of a teenager (whose mother is played by Kiberlain). At the same time, his delinquent son comes back into his life, having got caught up in the world of drug trafficking, as he needs his father to save a friend of his. 

Produced by Olivier Delbosc for Curiosa Films, Black Tide is being co-produced by Films Distribution, which is also in charge of the international sales. The French theatrical release will be handled by Mars Distribution.
