, the first feature film written and directed by François Troukens, a well-known Belgian media personality. Formerly a figure in organised crime, Troukens is not only a scriptwriter and director, but also a comic-book author and TV host.

In TueursOlivier Gourmet will star in the role of Frank Valken. Just as he is about to pull off an incredible heist, a thug from a local gang enters the fray, executing all the witnesses. Among the bodies is that of the magistrate presiding over the Tireurs Fous (Mad Gunmen) case. The Tireurs Fous gang in the story is a reference to the Brabant Killers, who terrorised Belgium during the 1980s. Tueurs, which will be co-directed by Jean-François Hensgens (DoP for Joachim Lafosse’s After Love [+see also:

. The film follows the insolent, spontaneous and funny Pamela. This young Roma is different from other women in her community. A single mother, she lives with her grandmother and her little girl in a small hut where the three of them share a bed. How can she reconcile the needs of her two-year-old daughter and her dream of freedom? Pamela embarks on a journey into the unknown, breaking away from the traditions that suffocate her. "Lapin, pizza, amour." All she has are three words in French and the hope that marriage will change her and her daughter’s destiny. Produced by FrakasSeule à mon mariage will begin shooting on 19 September and will mainly be filmed in Belgium.
