Rounded off by 26 premieres (for more details, click here), the Arras Film Festival’s line-up also includes tributes to French actress Michèle Mercier and famous director Jim Sheridan, whose home country will also take pride of place with a programme of 16 movies dubbed "Ireland, from One Conflict to Another".

Lastly of note among the other professional events is the fourth edition of the Arras Days, which will see a jury dish out development support grants to feature-length fiction projects initiated by the directors and producers of European films selected in competition at Arras, or in the Visions of the East and Discoveries sections.
