Written by Eric Gravel, the film tells the story of a young and uptight labourer whose only point of reference in life is her job. When she learns that the factory work she does is being savagely outsourced, she accepts, to the astonishment of the company she works for, to follow her job to India. Accompanied by two of her colleagues, she embarks on a ridiculous car journey to the end of the world, which turns into an unlikely personal quest.

Produced by Nicolas Sanfaute for Novoprod, Crash test Aglaé is being co-produced by Cinefeel (Gilles Sitbon), Vamonos (Grégoire Lassalle), Anaphi Studio/United Films (Lionel Montabord), Navarino (Bouvet) and Huyet Manuel (company yet to be announced). With financial support in the form of an advance on receipts from the CNC and the Ile-de-France and Lorraine regions, filming is scheduled to last for nine and a half weeks until 25 November in the Ile-de-France and Lorraine regions of France, Poland, Kazakhstan and India. The distribution of the film in France and international sales will be handled by Le Pacte.
