UPDATE: The film has added 35 extra territories to its tally (including Spain and Norway in Europe), which takes its total sales to 60 territories.

The team headed by Juliette Schrameck has already sold the feature for 25 territories, including the United States and Canada (Kino Lorber), Italy (Academy Two), Spain (Golem), Denmark (Ost For Paradis), Sweden (Folkets Bio), Benelux (Remain in Light), Portugal (Alambique), Switzerland (Xenix), Greece (Ama Films), Hungary (Cirko Films), the countries of the former Yugoslavia (Discovery), Turkey (Fabula Films), Tunisia (Hakka Distribution), the Middle East (Moving Turtle), Taiwan (Swallow Wings) and Australia (Sharmill). Negotiations are at an advanced stage for Germany, Latin America, Norway and Finland. 

Released on 19 May in French theatres by Diaphana, The Measure of a Man got off to a flying start, taking 156,000 admissions in six days and recording a clear hike in its attendance levels the day after the announcement of its Cannes win.

For the record, MK2 International also kicked off pre-sales at Cannes for the next film by Stéphane Brizé, Une Vie (based on the novel of the same name by Guy de Maupassant). The shoot will get under way this summer, staged by TS Productions, and the cast will include Judith Chemla, Jalil Lespert, Jean-Pierre Darroussin and Belgian actress Yolande Moreau.

At Cannes, MK2 International also drummed up some good business with the three Asian movies (co-produced by France) on its line-up, which were showcased in the Official Selection: Mountains May Depart [+see also:
