by Benoît Jacquot will open the 20th Rendez-Vous with French Cinema in New York, with its actresses Charlotte Gainsbourg and Chiara Mastroianni in attendance. Organised by Unifrance and the Film Society of Lincoln Center, and due to take place until 15 March, this anniversary edition sponsored by Martin Scorsese and Nathalie Baye has 22 features and four shorts on offer, with most of their directors gracing the event with their presence.

(with Alain Chabat and Elodie Bouchez in attendance), will also include a debate (entitled “The 21st-century Cinephile”), meetings (centring on the “French Touch” generation of music composers for French films) and master classes (with Guillaume Canet, Nathalie Baye and Mélanie Laurent, open to the public; producers Kristina Larsen and Anne-Dominique Toussaint, open to academics; and Cédric Kahn and Christophe Honoré, open to students).
