The International Jury is composed of: Sergei Loznitsa (Ukrainian director, president - read the news), Christophe Wagner (film director, Luxembourg), Karolina Markiewicz (journalist and film critic, Poland-Luxembourg), Claude Waringo (producer, Samsa Film, Luxembourg) and Gintare Parulyte (actor, Lithuania-Luxembourg). The awards ceremony will be held on 24 October.

Some of the films on the programme are related to the thematic cycle “So Far So Close”, which is also reflected in a large eponymous photography exhibition. Moreover, CinÉast will present several musical events, gastronomy evenings, special evenings, debates and a forum for film professionals, CinÉast Pro, dedicated to exploring co-production possibilities between the film industry in Luxembourg and the countries represented.
