), co-scriptwriter Predrag Kojović and producer Amra Bakšić Čamo have received the Prix MEDIA for their project What Are You Looking At?, which was awarded by European Commissioner for Culture Androulla Vassiliou at the Cannes Film Festival. What Are You Looking At? was selected as the best new film project by European experts for its outstanding artistic content in combination with promising strategies for development, production and distribution, including strong European box-office potential.

“Danis Tanović is one of the finest filmmakers of his generation. His latest film project is exceptional, with a compelling script that exudes a powerful sense of cultural identity and dynamism,” stated Vassiliou. “After the worldwide success of his masterpiece No Man's Land and other acclaimed movies, it is clear that he has created the basis for another wonderful film, which I’m sure will move hearts and minds in equal measure. We wish him and his team every success.”

The project is still in early development. What Are You Looking At? is set in a post-war city without any heroes, and with its values hijacked by corruption and crime. “For the first time in my life, I have felt a need to make a story about the city I live in. Everything I love about it, everything I believe in is gradually falling apart before my very eyes,” said Tanović. “I do not believe that a revolution in the minds of my fellow citizens is possible, but I do hope that this story will get them to start thinking.”
