 The current dynamism of Romanian production, notably illustrated by a record number of national films scheduled for release this autumn in the country (read the news) is also reflected this week at the Polish Tofifest festival taking place in Toruń (October 21-27). Amongst the highlights of the programme feature a zoom into new Romanian cinema and Marian Crisan (winner of the Palme d'Or in Cannes for Best Short in 2008) stands out amongst the event’s guests, during an encounter with the public.

The section "New Romanian Cinema" includes 14 titles. Amongst the recent productions feature Child’s Pose [+see also:

Marian Crisan is present in Toruń to present Rocker, the story of a man in his fifties, faced with a complicated personal situation and who is looking for some sort of new start through rock music.
