German Films dances the tango

From September 12 to 18, German Films is bringing a selection of new German films, which includes 13 features plus the NEXT GENERATION SHORT TIGER programme of short films, to the capital of Argentina. The Buenos Aires German Film Festival, an event initially conceived as an extension of the festival organised by German Films in Madrid, which became an established event and is now celebrating its 13th edition – with around 6,000 visitors attending last year and many sold-out performances – takes place in the famous Village Recoleta Cinema.

The festival intends to present the Argentinean audience with new German feature films, documentaries and shorts and thus increase the visibility of German productions abroad. Besides attracting film buyers, the goal is to reach members of the press and, above all, the general public, which gives German producers and world sales agents the opportunity to analyse the audience's reactions to their films.
