Before participating in the Closing the Gap programme, did you already have experience in producing?
Even if our expertise is about producing cartoon series, we have not launched our cartoon series before the Closing the Gap programme.

In what ways did the Closing the Gap programme transform your experience, then?
We had 2 important benefits from the Closing the gap programme. First the course has a good quality to teach how to develop a Business plan and to pitch with investors in a short time. Secondly, The Closing the Gap Programme is an opportunity to increase the international networking with the others colleagues and of course with the teachers.

How did your film benefit from your participation in Closing the Gap?
We have completely changed our business model. We are currently launching the cartoon series in digital platforms even before thinking on selling to broadcast channels.

What are the most important lessons you learned during the training programme?
The learning programme taught us going ahead working strong but with flexibility to analyze the opportunities, and then moving fast in the new direction.

At what stage is The Adventures of Byte project today? Do you think it would be in the same place without having participated in Closing the Gap?
No, the Closing the Gap programme have changed our commercial approach and business model and we are now sure to approach our audience first using the digital model.
In fact at the end of this year we‘ll be in the international market with The Game of The Adventures of Byte in one of the most important on line Apple Store. Our objective is to stand between the top 25 at the end of the year.

Would you recommend the Closing the Gap programme to other producers?
Yes, I would definitely recommend the Closing the Gap Programme to other producers because they could, as we did, refocus their business in its strong point and think in a digital way, because this is the future. Then, the producers participating to such a programme could learn to improve the abilities to manage in a short pitch and of course they could do networking with colleagues, teachers, professionals, etc…
